Our vans are the work of a huge community, an orchestra of artists, designers, and tradesmen.

Decades of experience in designing, upfitting, and kitting world class overland and van life vehicles has been condensed into one singular team and a bustling production facility here in Birmingham.

Additionally, 121 parts suppliers and tradesmen across the country have a hand in the build of every single van we create. From the chassis to the cabinet, to the electrical wiring and air conditioner, production of these vehicles is a moving, breathing symphony that ultimately yields the world's greatest adventure van.

Each van is a masterpiece of an entire community, hundreds of people working together through an industry fraught with supply chain issues and delays. And in this high level of curation by a team who has decades of experience in the luxury automotive industry, dealing with supply chain disruptions is nothing new. In fact, you can rest assured that the leadership team here are experts in these issues.

Sometimes, this means getting creative so that we can maintain our industry-defining level of quality while still delivering vans at a rate which meets the present market demand.

With that being said, we’re excited to announce that the remainder of our 2023 line of Beast MODEs will now be offered exclusively in Mercedes Benz Blue Grey. We’ve designed an all-new stripes colorway for this color, making the new Beast its own totally unique model.

We’re also now equipping our Stealth and Classic MODEs with a new tire design that features 16” rims (vs. 18” rims on previous models). The smaller rims give us the ability to have a larger sidewall on the tires and they’ll make your van even better equipped for off-road adventuring. The new design is matte black on the Stealth and bronze on the Classic MODE.

Additionally, in the near future we’ll release our 2023 AWD MODE Lineup, in which models will have AWD instead of 4x4.There will also be a marginal price increase for the 2023 AWD MODE Lineup, but we are 100% committed to only increasing prices as a reflection of the true cost of building our vehicles — down to the penny. This price will be announced with the launch of the 2023 AWD in the coming months.

All of these decisions have been made with the best interest of the Storyteller Overland community in mind. We understand that these vehicles are long-term decisions and not made lightly, and we know that owners take every detail of the van into consideration before making an order – even down to what wheel is on it or what color the vehicle is.
