You may catch a few glimpses out on the road in the next couple of months, but the full MODE product range – including the Ford Transit MODE LT and the 2022 MODE4x4, Stealth MODE, and Beast MODE – will be revealed at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, AZ on Sept 24-26.
The MODE4x4 is built on the Sprinter 2500 turbo diesel 4×4 144” high roof chassis from Mercedes Benz. The MODE LT is built on the gasoline-burning Transit 350 EcoBoost 148 AWD chassis from Ford. You will find around an inch in extra headroom, length, and width inside the Transit chassis when compared to the Sprinter. Everything that you know and love about the MODE 4×4 is preserved in the new MODE LT and all 2022 MODE models. Visit Compare MODEs for more details.
Just like all MODEs, the chassis will be serviced by the dealership of the chassis manufacturer (in this case Ford), and RV dealers will service any coach-related tech and warranty issues.
