4. Dawson Creek, British Columbia to Fairbanks, Alaska via the Alaska Highway — Roughly 1,490 Miles
This is the bucket list route for a reason. The Alaska Highway runs through some of the most remote territory in North America, and fuel stops along the way can be sparse and unpredictable. Starting at Mile 0 in Dawson Creek, you'd pass through the Yukon wilderness, the famous Sign Post Forest in Watson Lake, Whitehorse and the glaciers of Kluane National Park before crossing into Alaska and rolling toward Fairbanks. The EPIC's 200-gallon tank turns a route that would normally require careful fuel planning into a genuine non-issue, with roughly 300 miles of range left when you arrive.
5. Asheville, North Carolina to Bar Harbor, Maine via the Blue Ridge Parkway — Roughly 1,200 Miles
For a drive that trades desert and tundra for dense forest and coastal charm, this route takes you north along the Blue Ridge Parkway, through Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive, past Gettysburg and up through the White Mountains of New Hampshire before ending on the rocky coast of Acadia National Park in Maine. It's a drive full of overlooks, small mountain towns and fall foliage that rivals anywhere in the country. You'd arrive in Bar Harbor with around 600 miles of range still available, more than enough to explore the coastline before your first fuel stop.
6. The Waypoint, Iowa to Johnson Valley, California for STO Fest 2026 — Roughly 1,650 Miles
This one hits a little closer to home. The Midwest caravan for STO Fest 2026 kicks off at The Waypoint in Earlham, Iowa, and the drive out to Johnson Valley is a genuine cross-country expedition in its own right. You'd head west across Kansas, climb into the Colorado Rockies, drop into the red rock of Utah and cross the high desert of Arizona before rolling into the Mojave for four days of caravan camaraderie, off-road runs and campfire storytelling at Lasertown from October 15 through 18. Even after 1,650 miles of prairie, mountains and desert, you'd still have roughly 150 miles of range in reserve when you pull into camp, plenty to run out for supplies or explore Johnson Valley before the festival even starts.
The EPIC Takeaway
Every one of these routes proves the same point– the Storyteller GXV EPIC isn't just built to handle rough terrain and remote camping, it's built to keep you moving. An 1,800-mile range means fewer interruptions, more flexibility in your route planning and the freedom to chase the adventure instead of the nearest fuel station.
