The SOUL program launched as a means for Storyteller Overland, its Galaxy of Companies, and its community members to uplift & love others so that they can tell better life stories by reinvesting in the communities around them, as well as providing opportunities for team members and van owners to do the same.
Be the trail magic
Since Storyteller’s inception, we’ve been incredibly blessed by the community around us. The way people have shown up to contribute to our success has felt a lot like trail magic – totally unexpected, but exactly what we needed at exactly the right time. Now we want to pour our thanks back into the world. We want to be not only reactive but also proactive – finding ways to help before we’re even asked.
Empowering our team
As a people-centric organization we know our team members are passionate about helping others. So in addition to giving back to the community, the SOUL Program also empowers its team members to make an impact.
All Storyteller employees will receive eight hours a year of “SOUL Time Off” so that clocking in doesn’t get in the way of giving back to the community. Storyteller will also assist team members by helping them find meaningful opportunities and providing funds to causes that they are passionate about.
Connecting the community
Members of our MODELife community are already giving back in so many incredible ways, and our goal is to amplify those efforts. If you are interested in developing a give-back project within your own community (or perhaps already have one), we'd love to hear about it!
Need ideas?
- Clean up trash around your community
- Go to a local hiking trail and pass out waters and granola bars
- Serve meals at a local soup kitchen or homeless shelter
- Write cards to a local charity
- Donate blood
- Donate books to a Little Free Library
- Offer to mow your neighbor’s lawn
