Coolant Line Repair


The Issue: On a limited number of MODEs, the coolant lines for the Rixen heating system could potentially touch the drive shaft, transfer case, or both.


INSPECT FIRST, FIX IF NEEDED: We've got two documents for you to check out:

  • Doc #1: Explains how to inspect the coolant lines and secure them if there is no damage to the hoses. If you are not 100% comfortable doing this inspection yourself, this can be done at a dealer at no cost to you. 
  • Doc #2: Explains how to replace the hoses, if damaged. Should this be the case, this will be done at a dealership at no cost to you. 

If everything looks good after doing the steps in Doc #1, you don't need to read Doc #2.

Does the inverter need to be on to charge from the alternator?

No - but the M-Powerâ„¢ System has to be on to get a charge from the secondary alternator.

We recommend sanitizing your water system at least once a year.

What should I see from the base rated 90W Solar Panels?

Results can vary due to what appliances you have running. The 90W provides a trickle charge to your system and can be expanded to 325W with the addition of more solar panels while not requiring any additional wiring work.

No.

Does my BEAST have a high idle?

2020-2023 BEAST MODEs do have a Mid City High Idle Kit. 2024-2025 do not have a high idle kit, but have the capability of charging at idle.

How much can I carry?

An Occupant & Cargo-Carrying Capacity label is found in the passenger door area and shows the maximum weight capacity of the vehicle for all passengers and cargo, as well as the number of seat-belted riding positions. Refer to your vehicle's Operating Instructions for further information.

No, Storyteller can sell you new graphics for your MODE but cannot send any sort of proprietary information.
