In the Beginning… 

Before there was a game-changing van design…Before there was an intergalactic headquarters…Before there was a nationwide dealer network… There was a group of people who believed that adventure should belong to everybody. And to this day, those people and our shared values are still what makes up the real magic of Storyteller Overland. 

Introducing MODE Life

Storyteller’s original team of seven set out on a mission in November of 2018 in Birmingham, Alabama to revolutionize the adventure vehicle and outdoor lifestyle industry and liberate people from all walks of life with the proper gear, resources and mindset to live free, explore endlessly and tell better stories.

 

That launch team took Storyteller Founder Jeffrey Hunter’s original napkin sketch to a complete thought with the introduction of the very first MODE Van – a revolutionary adventure van complete with three provisional patents – which were ultimately granted domestically and internationally. 
 

So Much More Than A Van

From day one, it was never just about building the most capable, well-crafted adventure vans on the planet, it’s always been about the people who drive them and the stories they create along the way.

 

Our overland rigs are simply the vehicle, literally and figuratively, for something much bigger: meaningful connection, shared experiences and lives lived boldly. Every journey taken in a Storyteller is a reflection of the community behind the wheel – curious explorers, dreamers, doers and everyday adventurers who inspire one another to go further, stay longer and live freer.

 

At Storyteller, we foster a community grounded in authenticity, fueled by purpose and united by a shared belief that life’s greatest luxury is saying “yes” to the next grand adventure.
